Meet Manitowoc Chiropractor, Dr. William Seder
The most common phrase we hear within our office from new patients is "I thought it would go away!" in conjunction with "I wish I had known about Apple Clinic and chiropractic care sooner."
I had always wanted to be a part of the health care field and was well on the road to dental school when I had an absolutely terrible bout of mid back pain that was unrelenting. I tried everything in the book to alleviate the discomfort, but to no avail. Luckily a chiropractor in town was very proactive and was speaking to our college community in Eau Claire about how "we didn't have to suffer in pain" and not to ignore the warning signals that something is the matter if we are in pain. I decided to pay him a visit because I had thought to myself "What could it hurt?" After a more thorough introductory visit than I received from my family doctor, my chiropractor revealed to me what was causing my discomfort. Following a specific regimen of adjustments, I was back to my old self, in fact, I felt better than I had in a long time. I became more and more interested in chiropractic as I watched my own health continue to improve and not just freedom from pain, but increased flexibility and energy. To make a long story longer, I changed my focus of specialty and traveled to Palmer college to become a chiropractor and have truly discovered my passion to help individuals from all walks of life.
I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic because I was always told that it was the best and it definitely didn't disappoint. I was surprised at the amount of work that was expected of us from the onset as the education is very thorough and extensive. We are educated in all aspects of health very much equivalent to the education in med school minus the extra hours of pathology. It was a very fond and rewarding experience to have accomplished, but the most inspiring aspect was to travel abroad to another country and bring the wonders of chiropractic to Haiti. Words cannot express the experience I received in being able to help numerous men, women, and children in Haiti. It was a very significant part of my journey.
My ultimate goal for my patients is to bring them to the next level of health being more optimum health. I discuss all aspects of health with my patients not just the care of their spine and nervous system. I consider the care I render to my patients to be that of a partnership meaning that I hold my patients accountable for what we discuss as I hold myself accountable in caring for their health.
I am happily married to my wife Candice of 4 years. We are blessed with our two year old daughter Madison and our five year old beagle Snoopy. We all enjoy each others company when I am out of the office. We like to travel and visit with family and friends. We love to stay active in one another's lives. Madison is the apple of my eye as you can really see the joy in the world through a child's eye.
I receive chiropractic care on a regular basis to keep my spine and nervous system in tip top shape. I couldn't imagine going an entire month without an adjustment. My wife and daughter get adjusted on a regular basis. If my wife doesn't get adjusted she can have excruciating migraine headaches which used to bother her almost daily. We had a difficult birth with our daughter Madison so I keep a close eye on her spine and I adjusted her 15 minutes after she was born. She has had virtually no problems in her two years of life. As a family we don't get sick and if we do it is gone very quickly in that we all stay very well adjusted. There are of course other components such as diet and exercise to name a few. I live by the adage of everything in moderation.
Enough about me! How can we help you with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care? I consider myself an excellent listener and hope I get the opportunity to meet you in person and discuss your specific health challenge.
